A concrete patio is a durable, low-maintenance outdoor living surface when it's poured correctly. We install concrete patios for homeowners throughout Tyler and Smith County in plain, broom-finished, exposed aggregate, and stamped finishes — with proper slope for drainage, correct control joints, and the reinforcement appropriate for the application.

Finish Options for Concrete Patios

Broom finish is the standard residential exterior texture — slightly rough for traction, clean looking, and durable. Exposed aggregate removes the surface paste to reveal the stone in the mix — a more textured look that hides minor surface wear. Stamped concrete uses patterned mats pressed into the wet surface to create the look of brick, slate, stone, or tile. All three options are available and we can show you samples before you commit to a finish.

Drainage and Control Joints

A patio that doesn't drain away from the house is a foundation liability. We slope all patios a minimum of 1/8 inch per foot away from the structure to ensure water flows away. Control joints are placed to manage where cracking occurs — in a patio this size, joints every 8-10 feet in each direction is standard. Patios without control joints tend to develop random cracking within a few years.
